Hello!
I'm Cuba, a Spanish multi-developer currently leading and working on Project FrontRooms — a realistic Roblox Backrooms experience that combines RPG-survival gameplay, horror elements, and a non-linear open world, while staying fully faithful to the Wikidot and Fandom lore.
This project started as my first real game development experience at the age of 17. Although it is usually recommended to begin with small projects, this one pushed me far beyond my initial limits.
It took me from having zero programming knowledge to building systems with thousands of lines of code, including procedural and infinite world generation, gameplay systems, and core infrastructure.
The idea originally came from a Kane Pixels video in 2022, which introduced me to the Backrooms universe. As someone already interested in SCP-style concepts, I quickly became immersed in this world.
At that time, I did not consider myself capable of developing a full game. Instead, I focused on learning step by step:
- Roblox Studio building
- UI design
- Programming fundamentals
- Basic animation
Over time, this foundation evolved into the project you see today.
Active development began in September 2025, when I decided to take the project seriously. Since I currently handle most of the development, progress is gradual but continuous.
