Google Colab Setup Guide for Data-Stripper Notebook

Prerequisites

• A GitHub account
• Access to the craftersmc-guides-project organization
• A valid GitHub personal access token

Step-by-Step Setup Instructions

1. Access Google Colab

1. Visit Google Colab
2. Sign in with your Google account

2. Connect GitHub Repository

1. Click on the GitHub tab in the popup window

2. Authorize access to the craftersmc-guides-project organization when prompted

3. Check the Include Private repos checkbox

3. Open the Data-Stripper Notebook

1. From the repository dropdown, select data-stripper
2. Navigate to notebook/data-stripper.ipynb and open it

4. Configure GitHub Token

1. Click on the key icon to add a new secret

2. Enter:

   • Name: GITHUB_TOKEN
   • Value: -

3. Enable Notebook access

4. Verify the connection shows as active

   If you see an inactive connection, click Connect

5. Execute the Notebook

1. Click Run all in the toolbar

2. If prompted about unverified code, click Run anyway

3. Scroll to the bottom and wait for execution to complete
