Bumping this issue since "pkg_resources is slated for removal as early as 2025-11-30" which is coming up pretty soon. |

This is a duplicate of #72, but apparently I missed it for quite some time. 🙈 Since the deadline for deprecation is today, I'll merge this one and make a new release on the v0.6 branch, since v1.0 still isn't ready yet. Thanks for reminding me @WhiteSymmetry and @DerAndereJohannes. Also thanks again to @LucaCerina for the previous PR. Unfortunately, I can't merge both of them. 😆 |
