Use it to:

chops is a macOS app. If you want to use it on Windows, you need to download the app page from the link above and check for a Windows build, a web version, or a file you can run on Windows.
If a Windows file is available on the page, follow these steps:
- Open the download page
- Find the Windows file
- Download the file to your computer
- Open the downloaded file
- Follow the setup steps on screen
- Start chops from your desktop or Start menu
If the page offers a zip file:
- Download the zip file
- Right-click the zip file
- Choose Extract All
- Open the extracted folder
- Run the app file inside the folder
For a smooth setup, use a modern Windows PC with:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 200 MB of free disk space
- Internet access for the download
- A mouse or trackpad for easy file browsing
If you plan to use chops with skill files from other AI tools, keep those tools’ folders ready on your machine.
After you open the app:
- Choose the skill folder you want to manage
- Browse the list of skills
- Click a skill to view its contents
- Edit the text if you want to change it
- Save your changes
- Repeat for other tools or folders
You can use chops to move between skill sets for:

- Save the file again after editing
- Try a different folder if needed
chops works with skill files stored on your computer. Keep a backup before you change important files. If you manage skills for more than one tool, store a copy of each folder before editing.
