PureWolf requires a native helper program so the browser extension can talk to your system. We provide an easy one-command installer — no guessing folders or manual file edits.

Step 1 – Open your Terminal

  • On Linux: Press Ctrl+Alt+T or search for “Terminal”

  • On macOS: Press Cmd+Space, type Terminal, and press Enter

Step 2 – Run the installer

Copy and paste this command into your terminal and press Enter:

curl -fsSL https://github.com/ArcaneSphere/PureWolf-Browser-Extension/releases/download/v0.9.70/install.sh | bash

What it does:

  1. Downloads the installer script from our GitHub
  2. Creates the necessary folders in your home directory
  3. Downloads the native program and Firefox manifest
  4. Sets permissions automatically
  5. Restart Firefox after installation.
