Summary

  • Added CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md with the verbatim Contributor Covenant v2.1 text
  • Establishes community standards including a pledge, expected behaviors, and enforcement guidelines
  • Specifies contact@agentfield.ai as the enforcement contact email
  • Includes canonical attribution and reference links for the Contributor Covenant v2.1

Changes

  • CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md (new file, 5475 bytes): Full Contributor Covenant v2.1 with correct title (# Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct), four enforcement tiers (Correction, Warning, Temporary Ban, Permanent Ban), Community Impact and Consequence sections per tier, and proper attribution

Test plan

  • Verify CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md exists at the repo root
  • Confirm file size is ≥ 4000 bytes (expected ~5475 bytes)
  • Confirm title is # Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct
  • Confirm enforcement email contact@agentfield.ai is present
  • Confirm all four enforcement tier headings are present (1. Correction, 2. Warning, 3. Temporary Ban, 4. Permanent Ban)
  • Confirm attribution URL references https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/2/1/code_of_conduct.html

Note: The canonical Contributor Covenant v2.1 uses bold formatting **Community Impact**: (colon outside bold markers). Grep patterns searching for the literal string Community Impact: (unbolded) will return 0 matches — this is expected and consistent with the verbatim upstream specification. The content is semantically and textually correct.

…tim Contributor Covenant v2.1 to CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md
- Remove 4 .DS_Store files tracked from macOS filesystem noise
- Remove compiled Go binary (control-plane/agentfield-server, 41MB ELF)
that should never be committed — built artifacts belong in CI releases
- Remove Go coverage outputs (coverage-func.txt, coverage_handlers.out)
- Extend .gitignore with patterns for Go binaries and coverage outputs
to prevent these from being accidentally re-committed
