Welcome to NXErase! This tool helps you safely delete sensitive data to protect it from theft and recovery attempts. NXErase is specially designed for modern storage solutions like SSDs and NVMe drives. Follow the steps below to download and run NXErase.

To download NXErase, visit the link below:

Download NXErase

  1. Click on the link above to go to the Releases page.
  2. Locate the most recent version of NXErase.
  3. Download the appropriate installer for your system. If you're using Linux, choose the .tar.gz file.

Once downloaded, follow these steps to install:

For Windows:

  • Run the installer by double-clicking the downloaded file.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install NXErase.
  • After installation, you can find NXErase in your Start Menu.

For Linux:

  1. Open a terminal.
  2. Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the file.
  3. Extract the files using the command: 
    tar -xzf NXErase-x.x.x.tar.gz
  4. Move into the extracted folder: 
    cd NXErase-x.x.x
  5. Run NXErase with the command: 
    ./NXErase

    NXErase path/to/your/file
  • Replace path/to/your/file with the actual file path.

Deleting a Folder

To securely delete a folder, use:

NXErase -r path/to/your/folder

This option allows you to delete folders along with all files contained within.

View Help

If you need more information about using NXErase, type:

NXErase --help

This will show a list of commands and options available.
