Share a release

I can't seem to get the project to build. It might be because I'm not super familiar with Visual Studio, idk.
Could you maybe upload a release that's pre-built?
It sounds like this app could be very useful, and I'd love to try it.

Hey sorry for not seeing this sooner, I haven't been working much on this right now and in its current state it is broken and does not compile, however you can fallback to a working version which iirc should be this commit: 20b9bba.
Try it and let me know if it works.

I'm having some problems with the minhook library, I think I'll give up for now. If you continue working on this project, I'd love if you could include a compiled release when you get it working again. Thanks for the help, though.

The issue you were probably facing is that you need to have vcpkg installed in order to fetch minhook from the repository (it's not included in this repo).
I've built a release of the program for you, mind you that you need to have the .net 6 runtime installed, and also the config file is in a folder named "HideMyWindowsTest" inside your user's downloads folder.

It works! I gotta say, I did not expect this to be as intuitive and robust as it is. It's very nice to use! The only thing that could make it better in my opinion is if it had a tray icon, and it could close to tray. That way I could make it start automatically on system boot and have the Window rules have some pre-configured programs I don't want showing up on my streams/recordings, and I would never have to think about it again.

Well, and I guess the config file could be in a better location, but that's not a big issue.

Honestly, this app could help out a lot of streamers/recorders, I think.
