Can't read/send or even add contact

Hi,

First of all, thank you for sharing this. But I can't seem to be able to get it working.

In interactive mode, I can initiate chat.

Trying to add contact first, but I got the following message:

Error: Invalid value: Invalid mobile number or name. Use --help for help

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Did you enter a 12 digit number? Anyway even if you do get this to work, it is a hacky tool and cannot be used for anything serious.

Thank you for your response. I did ... but to make it up to 12 digits I used international format +xx where xx is the country code.

It has to be a 12 digit numeric value. I believe this is a bug because I realized countries have variable lengths for mobile numbers.

So should I add certain number at the beginning/end? Like adding 0 at the beginning?

I doubt it work because the number should match exactly to what is stored on whatsapp server. I think I should remove the 12 digit validation.
