Unable to get the example working in ESP8266

I am unable to get your work running in ESP using Sming framework. I placed all files inside the Lib folder into Sming/Libraries/Websocket2. After a few debugging here and there, I am still getting errors like this

/home/azmath/Sming/user/websocket/app/application.cpp:33: undefined reference to `WebSocketClient::sendData(String, unsigned char)'

I am stuck here. Does this project work? have you updated anything yet? Pls do update. This is a much needed work.
