What is the relationship of this code to NCEPLIBS-g2c library?

We are maintaining a library NCEPLIBS-g2c (https://github.com/NOAA-EMC/NCEPLIBS-g2c). How is this project related to the NCEPLIBS project? Is this a different version of the same code, or is it intended to be a different library?

Hi Edward,

This is exactly the same code, just an older revision that we make use of. At the time that we set it up, we could not find any releases of g2clib in Github. The only reason that we even made it public was to keep our Github costs down, as the costs increase with the number of private repositories that our organization creates. If your version is the official NCEP release of g2clib, we'd we happy to eliminate this one and use yours instead.
