Hello, I'm sorry if this is rudimentary. I think it would be beneficial to add a location filter if possible, I need to make more friends from other countries. The site is great and thank you!

Thanks for your feedback. This has indeed come up in a few discussions, There are a few concerns with this that I haven't been able to work out yet.

• Do people want to fill in this kind of profiling?
• How do I handle privacy issues on my end (GDPR etc), daily/opener/gifter is one thing, but storing geographic location of a trainercode that i cannot confirm is actually yours (people sign up their family and friends up, without giving my website consent to store the information)
• Building on that, GDPR-wise, how can i possibly handle un-subscribing if i can't confirm a certain code is you
• Will this not get into conflict with existing forums, reddits, facebook groups, ...

I am not entirely sure what the benefit is of adding people of certain locations, maybe if i read up a bit on that i can manage to create some compromises. I'll post here if i cracked it, or if it cracked me :D
