Precision qualifiers needed when switching from integrated to discrete GPU #28

When I used NVIDIA Control Panel to set my NVIDIA discrete GPU as the preferred GPU over the integrated Intel GPU, I had to add

precision highp float;
precision highp int;

to all my shaders. glText is not showing text when I have the NVIDIA GPU as the preferred GPU, and I suspect it's because of the missing precision qualifiers. Can someone please confirm if this is the issue and update the repo?
