File Manager chokes on files when in a path that includes a folder starting with a dot

They will list, but clicking on them gives "unsupported preview", and more importantly trying to download one results in "file not found".

@mgutt just curious if you've seen this issue - and if it was possibly resolved by your recent changes?

This bug is only fixed partially with the recent changes. It is now possible to open/edit files in hidden directories:

But they can not be downloaded (Chrome returns "File wasn't available on site"):

I will fix this.
