Screamer PCIe Squirrel - USB data port not found but programming port is found - Ubuntu 20

We bought a Screamer PCIe Squirrel from LambdaConcepts. They said that they do not support it.

I've installed the card in a Dell 5860 running Ubuntu 20. The card shows up:

04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Xilinx Corporation Device 0666 (rev 02)'

The programming port shows up (after I uninstalled brltty):

Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0403:6011 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT4232H Quad HS USB-UART/FIFO IC

But the data port doesn't come up and pcileech fails to connect to the device.

I'm puzzled by the fact that one port comes up while the other does not.
