Intended audience

I might be able to recruit librarians through CARLI.
Or I have two offices at Bradley I could share the ORCID information with and the DMP information. Neither are libraries nor librarians. Just the offices on campus that are spinning up to support grants, big grants, and revised tenure and portfolio structures. We are starting an ERP (enterprise resource planning) conversion process from local legacies this year.

CARLI maybe by October's state conference for Illinois Libraries Association
For Bradley maybe this spring or over the summer.

Additional notes or questions

I'm confused. Am I offering to instruct or to organize? Or do both? I'm excited to make myself learn the content through learning how to teach it, but I don't get to use it myself yet. I struggle to explain the value of libraries to the grants office or general administration. I may be misusing what this pilot request is for.

Both, actually -- and neither is wrong. You can teach DMP 101 yourself or organize someone else to teach it. The goal is simply for the lesson to get in front of a real audience, and for you to report back on what worked.

Your non-library context is genuinely one of the more interesting pilots we could have. Most people who sign up will be librarians teaching other librarians. You'd be testing whether DMP 101 holds up with the offices that actually submit DMPs: grants support, research administration folks spinning up new workflows. That's a harder, more useful test.

The "I don't get to use it myself" thing isn't a problem. The lesson is designed for librarians and information professionals who are learning about DMP concepts, not for those who already work with them daily. You'd be bringing it to an audience that's closer to the subject matter than most, which is actually a good stress test.

CARLI could work too if you want to start with a more traditional library audience.

I can connect you with the DMP 101 lesson authors either way. I'll open a coordination issue in the lesson repo, so you're all on the same thread. Just let me know which direction you want to go.
