default template triggers `EMFILE: too many open files, watch` error

Creating a new project using npx create-granite-app@latest, then running npm install and npm run dev causes the granate server to throw a EMFILE: too many open files, watch error

This case needs to be investigated further, but strangely, it only happens with npm. Running npm install once more and then executing npm run dev resolves the issue.
