Multifield in Grid Search triggering error once search field is cleared

Hi,

I have added multifield widget in one of my project. and the search is working fine however when I am clearing the value from the search field or pressing the cross button , I am getting the below error:

Also i am adding below some snapshot of my widget configuration 👍
