i looked into your source code & it downgrades to Chromium 109 when run on Windows 7.

how about using Supermium - https://github.com/win32ss/supermium - instead, a fork which continues support for Windows 7 in the latest version?

(was a criminal for Chromium developers to drop Windows 7 support in the first place tho)

I wanted to, but I couldn't get CEF to work with Supermium. I decided perhaps to try adding support for using r3dfox instead (since the Mozilla XUL platform allows for embedding relatively easily, in theory), but I kinda forgot about this whole project before I started on that.

I don't use Pale Moon as my main browser anymore, as I've ended up moving to r3dfox instead for now.

oh ok then. btw wish there was a Firefox Quantum fork which restores XUL extension support coz WebExtensions API is totally useless for me & Mozilla calling XUL as "legacy" felt insulting

That's exactly what I was thinking! Perhaps I'll have a go at that.
