I have the same issue trying to install Purity III v. 1.1.6. T3.v2.5.5 framework updated successfully, which I updated first. I've tried using jaextmanager.v2.6.0 and received a message that says /tmp/purity_III.v1.1.6.zip not uploaded for security reasons! I've never had an issue updating before so why now? When using the normal Joomla updater I get the message that "copy file failed." I clean my cache after each install but that hasn't helped. What’s interesting is that in the admin area the template shows v1.1.6 is installed but on the Joomla update it shows the site is on v.1.1.2.

When updating an extension it was discovered that there is a javascript error on the template. Below is the error.
