I wanted a CLI, so I could initiate TargetBridge via SSH on my Sender from my iMac Receiver. I'm not a developer by trade and honestly didn't expect this to work.. Claude one-shotted it.

I can login on my iMac, run an alias, and TargetBridge fires up on my Sender and connects automatically. It's also nice for automation; I'm able to use it with Hammerspoon and displayplacer, so when it connects, it enables HiDPI. I'm planning to have it auto-run on my iMac so it just connects whenever I login or wake it from sleep.

Any interest in a PR?

Yes, absolutely — I’d be very interested in a PR for this.

That sounds genuinely useful, especially for people using SSH, Hammerspoon, displayplacer, or just wanting TargetBridge to connect automatically on login or wake.

I think a CLI could fit TargetBridge really well, as long as the first PR stays fairly focused and builds on the current sender/session model instead of creating a separate parallel control path.

Even a first version with a small scope would already be valuable if it can handle things like:

• launching the Sender
• selecting or overriding the receiver/session
• connecting automatically
• documenting a simple automation workflow

If you do, I’d suggest targeting main and keeping the first pass focused on practical sender-side automation. We can always expand it later once the foundation is in place.
