It seems Loyverse is using this API Payment Switch to integrate SumUp to Loyverse POS?

Even when Tap to Pay is enabled on the SumUp app, it's missing from the options when using the API Payment Switch. Tap to pay is also missing from the official Android SDK.

Why is Tap to Pay missing on both integration options, but is available on the sumup app?

I can confirm that, we encountered same issue when integrating SumUp to our own POS app, Tap to Pay is not available when initiating transaction via Payment Switch.

Strangely enough, on iOS it works fine and you can pay transaction intiated via API Payment Switch with Tap to Pay.

Is it an issue with SumUp app itself (some kind of restriction maybe)? Or are we missing something?

We have the same problem. SumUp support tells us, the "Tap to Pay" feature for Android is in some kind of beta phase. Lets hope the feature is coming soon...
iOS is no option for us.

2026: Still the same here, works on iOS, does not work on Android when using the URL scheme. We've reached out to our point of contact there for clarification, and are waiting on a reply. This issues tab here is unmaintained and without any responses since 2020 — so I wouldn't wait for an answer.
