Old versions (ex. TL-WR841N/TL-WR841ND v11) does not support xml-configuration, but instead use a (uncompressed) flat key-value pair after the md5 hash.
Would adding some form of support for this be interesting? (at least the extraction-part)
This would be purely for convenience and documentation, as a the corresponding script would be pretty short.
If not i'll add a gist for it.
