I believe the best way to learn software engineering is by building in public. In the courses I teach, I don't just show students how to code—I actively guide them through the process of contributing to real-world open-source projects.

Together, my students and I have successfully contributed to massive, industry-leading repositories, including LangChain and Apache Superset. Helping a student get their very first pull request merged into a major project is one of my greatest passions.

Most recently, I've stepped into the role of a maintainer. My current focus is building and maintaining projects like saasmail, which reflects my core development philosophy: powerful software should be accessible and affordable.

I build tools designed to be deployed on your own infrastructure for almost free, requiring absolute minimal overhead. I want to give developers and small teams the ability to self-host reliable, high-quality infrastructure without getting locked into expensive, recurring SaaS subscriptions.
