MRI Protocol for Philips rel5.7

Importing the rel5.3 version failed.
Does anyone out there havea rel 5.7 Examcard that can be made available?

(side question: why does the latest message on the line for the Philips Protocol refer to a Skyra?)

Can you please try to import this (you need to unzip before): spine_generic_philips_R57.ExamCard.zip

If this one works I'll add it to the main repository.

Hi Julian,

 I'll test the import at work tomorrow. 

Given that Skyra is a Siemens machine it seemed odd to be mentioned on the Philips folder - see attached.

What you are referring to is a commit message from the git history. That particular commit only affected the Siemens protocol, as you can see here on this full commit: 37b4c74

The source of confusion is that a temporary file (.DS_Store) was removed from the Philips folder, but without any change to the protocol.

Hi Julian,
Import worked and I had a chance to run the sequences on a phantom today.
I hit issues with:
- the zoom option on the DWI is listed but apparently not functional on our scanner - checking iwth Philips
- the maximum available Turbo Factor for our T2 was 89 (not 92), but this came up after I positioned - so maybe I bumped
the phase FoV.
I think both are "local" issues and not universal for the ExamCard.

To reduce artefacts on our system I would prefer to make two adaptations:
       Use Compressed Sensing instead of SENSE
       Apply Strong FID suppression on the T2

when I get our zoom running I can save out an ExamCard for the repository if you like (or would it be too different for the generic branch?).

Thank you Paul, but before replacing the current Philips protocol, we would need to test it across various sites, models, perform quantitative measures and statistical comparisons, etc. as was done for the spine-generic study. If you wish to share your updated ExamCard (I encourage you to do so), you could simply upload the zipped version in this GitHub issue. Other researchers will be able to download it, test it, and give feedback.

My suggestion was not to replace the existing ExamCard (ie: the one available here), but to upload it in this Github issue thread.

If you don't know how to upload a ZIP file, just send it to me via email and I'll do it.
