Option to pin a task to the top of a list

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I use the widget extensively for my day-to-day task list and it's a fantastic solution for my use case, for my needs I don't set due dates and just sort the list by newest task first. But sometimes I have a particularly important or otherwise relevant task that I need to remain at the top of the task list, even if I add new tasks after it, whilst still otherwise having the task list sorted by newest first.

I would like to have the ability to pin tasks to the top of a list so that they remain at the top of the list regardless of the selected list sorting.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I have tried manual sorting, but this requires constantly moving tasks on the task list every time I add a new task.

For important notes, I use a separate list, so i have "Agenda" for notes with due dates, and "Important" for a subset of more important notes. An alternative could be to set the due date of the important notes to yesterday, so that when you order the list by date, they show up in the "overdue" group at the top of the list

Thanks! The latter suggestion is a fairly useable workaround for me atm.

Yes I would. But I want to test every update carefully, and I can not dedicate a lot of time to this project, so be aware that it may take many weeks for this feature to actually reach the play store. But you have my blessing :)
