This error message is caused by there not being a release created on GitHub for the update checker to find.

It's normal and does not result in a crash, so you're experiencing a different issue.

The main branch is currently experiencing validation errors on D3D12 with the latest Agility SDK, so you could try changing GraphicsAPI to Vulkan in %APPDATA%\MarathonRecomp\config.toml to work around it for now.

If you're trying the WIP options-menu branch, it has the same issue as above, but also requires some fonts that are not currently provided.

i changed graphic api to vulkan but its still crashing

ive tested it on my laptop and it works but not on my main PC
