Missing Skus

I noticed that the drop down does not have all the skus. I had just finished something similar (that's just exporting the CSV), and fought with this a bit. Here is what I have. I feel like in the time I worked on this, they added a few new skus so it threw me off a bit.

In which dropdown would you expect the SKUs? Or do you mean a separate dropdown to filter on SKUs?

Good point, I might be mixing platform with skus. I guess I'd say add another dropdown to filter based on skus. I think from what I remember, there really wasn't a sku for anything but Windows, so after selecting windows10, the appropriate skus should be selectable.

That way you could filter on what is applicable only for multisession for example.

I did notice however that the property windowsSkus is not present on all Windows platform settings, I'm not sure if that means that they are not applicable to WindowsSkus, or the opposite and are applicable to all WindowsSkus. It would be good to know that before adding another filter, because you might loose search results by filtering which are indeed applicable.

Yeah when I went through mine, I did some spot checking. When filtering on multisession for example, I got a lot of blanks on the skus (seemed like anything Office/Edge ADMX backed). But I did some spot checking in Intune and found that they did apply to multi-session, so I just chalked it up to Microsoft inconsistencies. Here's my script if interested.

Alright, so on the premise that empty WindowsSkus property means that it applies to all SKUs, the dropdown filter should be designed to include all settings with an empty WindowsSkus property when filtering on a WindowsSkus item. Do you agree?

Do you by any chance know if there is a list of all the WindowsSkus items available via Graph API?

I played around with a WindowsSkus filter dropdown yesterday evening, but I'm not sure if this actually makes it easier for you to search the settings..

• What I did was include the windowsSkus items listed under Applicability in the search index, and added a dropdown filter to filter the results.
• For the settings that had an empty WindowsSkus property I added all the available WindowsSkus item to the search index (since we discussed that those settings apparently apply to all WindowsSkus)

When filtering on for example WindowsMultiSession this barely reduces the search results because most of the settings did not had WindowsSkus items listed in the setting (which I added in the search index because the setting would apply to all SKUs).

This makes me wonder what good it would do for you to add the filter in this way.
Could you maybe name a few settings which are specific to a Sku (or which specifically do not apply to a Sku) and you therefore would like to retrieve by filtering?
I'll try to see if there is another approach to this to help you with better filtering the results for your use case.
