For me, GitHub feels more like a place to ask for software support (a kind of customer care service or feedback channel, maybe?) rather than a real community where you share code with friends. Its version of a forum, Discussions, doesn’t help much. I created my account years ago but haven’t found a reason to log in regularly. Now that the developer of a cool code editor has added support for multiple BASIC dialects, I no longer have to switch editors for each dialect. I think that’s enough, and it’s time to move on.
