Hi everyone! I am an absolute beginner and I have not started coding yet. I am currently in the planning phase of an astronomy project using a Raspberry Pi 3 B+.
My goal is to connect a GPS sensor, an RTC (clock), and an Orientation sensor to calculate the Altitude and Azimuth of celestial bodies. I want to use the Skyfield library, but since I am new to this, I'm not sure where the best place to learn is.
Could you recommend any tutorials or guides that are friendly for someone who is just starting from zero? I want to make sure I understand how to get the location from my sensors into Skyfield correctly.
I am also looking for interested coders who would like to collaborate on this. If you are interested in DIY astronomy and Raspberry Pi, I’d love for you to check out my repo and share your ideas!
You can see my project description and hardware list here: [https://github.com/krishnaajayhardiksanyam-hue/PI_star_TRACKER/blob/main/README.md]
