Bug description

A critical UI frame misalignment occurs in the chat view when attempting to view message information immediately after interacting with the attachment menu.

Specifically, after opening the (+) attachment menu and dismissing it by tapping the background, swiping a message to the left (to view message info) causes the entire application screen frame to shift excessively to the top-left corner.

This creates a large, non-interactive black void on the bottom and right sides of the display, effectively pushing the app interface out of the visible viewport.

This issue has been present since the "Liquid Glass" design update on the Signal app.

Steps to reproduce

  • Open any conversation in Signal (like "Note to Self").
  • Tap the (+) button in the bottom left corner to open the attachment menu.
  • Tap anywhere on the chat background to dismiss/hide the attachment menu.
  • Immediately swipe any message bubble from right to left (the gesture to reveal "Message Info").
  • Go back to your chat.
  • The glitch should have now been reproduced.

Actual result: After the steps to reproduce above are complete, the UI shifts significantly towards the top-left, moving a large portion of the interface off-screen and revealing a black background gap in the bottom/right areas.

Expected result: The chat view should slide in smoothly with the correct framing, without disturbing the main application window frame or causing viewport displacement.
