Bug description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Signal and go to any chat.
  2. Ensure Android navigation gestures are enabled (edge-swipe back).
  3. From the left screen edge, start the system back gesture (swipe inwards) to trigger the back animation/transition.
  4. Before the gesture completes, cancel it.
  5. Observe the chat window after the gesture is cancelled.

Expected result
The chat UI returns to the normal (non-rounded) appearance; no visual corner rounding should remain after cancelling the gesture.

Actual result
The chat window remains visually rounded (rounded corners) until the chat/activity is reopened or the app is resumed.
