Request: Tweak Keyboard Mapping to match Ultimate64 / VICE

While there is no true standard for PC to C64 keyboard mapping, it would be nice to have the Blue-64's default symbolic keyboard mapping (mostly) match the Ultimate 64's USB keyboard handling and VICE, which have become defacto standards.

Specifically, my recommendation would be to change to the following:

• Map Esc to Run-Stop
• Map Tab to CTRL+I
• Map ^ (Shift-6) to Up-Arrow
• Map \ to £ (Pound)
• Map F12 to Restore
• Allow SHIFT+HOME to send clear-screen CHR$(147)

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Now in general I don't mind about mapping. Some of these associations are OK. the ^ ad \ associations are pretty much swapped, so that's ok, I tend to agree that ^ is more suitable for arrow-up.
Shift + Home sending CHR$(147), wouldn't that be equivalent to the current mapping of delete/f12?
And that's the deal with Tab? I though it was mapped to the commodore button in the Vice symbolic mapping?

• Re Shift+Home sending CHR$(147), yes, the clear screen is available elsewhere, just trying to accomodate decades of muscle memory ;-)

• Re Tab, you're right. It is indeed C= key in Vice. On the Ultimate 64, Tab is unused (Windows Key is C=) Though there is a Tab character in Commodore Basic (CHR$(10), or CTRL-I), but I must have seen that on a different emulator and remembered it wrong. So no need for that one.
