Currently, when a SOP is linked in studies / assays or used in sample metadata as registered SOP attribute, nothing prevents a user with managing permissions to delete this SOP. That user might not even be aware this SOP is used in other places on the platform. This leads to a lot of inconsistencies, especially if the SOP is used in the sample metadata.
It would be nice if the user is at least warned that the SOP is used being used prior to deletion. That way the user could inform other users about this change, and appropriate actions can be taken.
