Pixel sort - spinning wheel/beachball and never finishing on mac

last bug for today. I have not been able to use Pixel Sort/Cut (v1.0.5) on this version of prior versions. The app goes into spinning beachball mode. I have waited hours with no end. I have to force quit eventually.
