The current behavior automatically routes requests based on request type, and the only way to force a specific model is by launching Claude with it directly. That becomes pretty rough when switching between models for different tasks or extension use.
It would be great to add a section in the config where users can map Claude models to models of their choice in Opencode Go. For example:
Opus → GLM 5.1
Sonnet → Kimi K2.6
etc.
This would make model switching much smoother and give users more flexibility while keeping existing workflows intact.
I think this feature would be really valuable for a lot of us.
