Thanks for the issue! "Register via WhatsApp" could mean two things — want to make sure we point you at the right thing:

1. If you mean linking a session by phone number instead of scanning a QR code — that's already supported. Start a session, then call POST /sessions/:id/pairing-code with { "phoneNumber": "<number>" } to get an 8-char pairing code you enter on your phone (Settings → Linked Devices → Link with phone number).
2. If you mean creating/registering a brand-new WhatsApp account programmatically — that's not something OpenWA (or the underlying engines) can do, and it would violate WhatsApp's ToS, so it's out of scope.

Could you confirm which one you're after? If it's (1), let us know if the existing endpoint works for you and we can close this out.
