Starting Over - don't want to lose books again

Hello again,
It's Paulette. I see that my issue was closed yesterday (#1596), so I opened this new one.

I just got another external hard drive to run Time Machine in order to hopefully not lose my books again...
And I just deleted my account and trashed all the other versions of Libation that I had. I've downloaded the latest for my Mac and I just want to make sure I do everything right...

Do I need to do the LibationCli?

It looks a bit confusing so I figured I'd ask before spending more time trying to figure it out if I didn't need to. I'm worried that my skipping over it last time might be what the problem was that caused books to disappear and not be found anywhere.

You don't need to do anything with the CLI.

I actually don't use a mac and our mac guy is away for a while but I think the following is correct for mac folders. I'm pretty sure this is where your old Libation settings and database are. You'll want to rename or move this before re-starting from scratch or it will just read your previous settings/database:

~/Library/Application Support/Libation

And here is where your old books would be:

~/Music/Libation/Books

OK, I've looked in both places and there's nothing there at all. But I've given up on that.

I erased my external hard drive and reformatted it to run Time Machine.
I got another external hard drive and set it up to be my library for Libation.
I trashed everything I could find that was Libation on my computer, but when I downloaded the newest version, everything came up again - as you said it probably would. I couldn't figure out how else to get rid of it, so I just let it download any new books I've gotten.
I thought about deleting the ones that have red lights, but it gives me the option of deleting EVERYTHING or nothing. Not sure if I should do that or not.
I'm currently looking at the settings and just want to make sure I've got things set to decrypt the books. I'm attaching screenshots of my settings.
If everything will decrypt and save to my external hard drive, I'll delete all the books and then 're-liberate' my audible library?

On the other hand, I could wait till your Mac guy returns.

On that first settings tab, there's the button which says 'open log folder'. Clicking that will open the folder where your logs, settings, database, and login cookies/tokens are. Moving/deleting everything in there is the same as starting from scratch.

Thank you so much for that info - I was finally able to start over completely.

I've liberated everything I can, but this is what I see at the bottom of the window and I'm not sure what's what...

So it says no progress on 485, and 797 unavailable, plus 3 unavailable. What do those numbers represent?

Also, I think Audible has made it so no books in the plus catalog are able to be liberated. A whole bunch come up in the queue and turn red, with "License Denied" in the corner. I haven't gone through to double check it as there are A LOT, but I've checked a few of them and I can listen to them through my audible account, so I know they're not expired. Is something that can be worked around? Or is this the new thing they're doing?

Audible is constantly playing around with limits on Plus titles. Which leaves me and users playing a constant cat-and-mouse game trying to catch up with them. Since you just did a lot of downloads in a short amount of time, I recommend waiting 2 days and trying again. There seems to sometimes be an audible-imposed 1 or 2 day block on plus titles after huge downloads.
