Add a new tab to the Debug window to make troubleshooting much easier #29
Description
Currently, troubleshooting issues takes a lot of effort for novice users. It would be great if troubleshooting was made easier from within the wallet.
I suggest a new tab in the Debug window, call it whatever you like. I was thinking something like Maintenance or Troubleshoot.
In this new tab, display information that will help users, and add buttons to fix issues:
- Location of the wallet.dat file
- Option to backup the wallet (same functionality as 'File → Backup wallet...`)
- Location of the debug.log file
- Button to download the bootstrap file
- With information on what to do with it? So, extract the bootstrap file and put it in the 'reddcoin data directory' (same location as the wallet file)
- A button for
-reindex - A button for
-rescan - A button for
zapwallettxes=1(and maybe=2?) - Possibly a button for
-salvagewallet - ... and any other option that would make troubleshooting easier.
