Suggestion: component interactivity

It would be neat to be able to define interaction behaviour for arbitrary components to make it possible to execute a shell script or commands by pressing spacebar when the component is focused.
That way you could design "homescreen" dashboards using dashbrew whereby pressing space on a component displaying current weather could open a weather app, interacting with a time widget would open a full calendar, pressing on an unread email counter would open an email client, and so on.

would that include replacing the pane with whatever the shell script returns? or just trigger the command with a key binding?

I have an idea of reserving a single keybinding(configurable within the non-reserved key space) would open an action menu, somthing like (Cmd + K) overlay menus, where each component can register actions.

maybe you have a claude session streaming to a dashbrew pane and want to register an action where you can attach yourself to the actual claude code session, or a clock widget that registers an action that would open a calendar.

this itself is very much doable but if we want to replace the content with an action, i will have to think about it architecturally.

would love to hear your thoughts/use-cases
