This is a placeholder ticket for reworking the messages UI
The intention is to create a more scaleable, pleasant to use message/channel/constellation/etc user interface, which works for MT and MC. Ideally we'll be able to reuse a lot of the UI components across both protocols.
Alternatively, we might let the protocols diverge
