The error "simple query "BEGIN" arrived before ending an extended query message" breaks the compatability with PostgreSQL JDBC Driver v42.7.6. and above

The commit 240c668 broke the ability to update the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver above the v42.7.5. As soon as I updated the driver version to v42.7.10 I got the error r "simple query "BEGIN" arrived before ending an extended query message". So I cannot use the combination PostgreSQL JDBC Driver and pgpool2.

There's nothing pgpool can do so far. If we revert 240c668, pgpool will hang as it written in the commit message.

@tatsuo-ishii thank you for the quick response. Could you please join the discussion in JDBC Driver issue? It seems both teams expect a resolution on the other side. Could you please provide any workaround?

It seems driver team is planning fix for this: pgjdbc/pgjdbc@2825f70

Could you please tell if it is necessary to do additional changes in Pgpool after that PR is merged.
