Environment
- VS Code: 1.119.0
- Overleaf Workshop: 0.15.10 from VSX
- LaTeX Workshop: 10.15.2
- OS: Windows 11
Description
I encountered a strange PDF viewer issue. If I compile a .tex file and open the generated PDF using the "View PDF" button, it works correctly. However, if I directly click an existing PDF file in the VS Code explorer, VS Code shows an error and cannot open the PDF.
The output panel shows:
[error] [Window] Error: Invalid uri scheme: file:///...
at new PdfDocument (c:\Users\Username\.vscode\extensions\iamhyc.overleaf-workshop-0.15.10-3b47635\out\core\pdfViewEditorProvider.js:15:19)
at PdfViewEditorProvider.openCustomDocument (c:\Users\Username\.vscode\extensions\iamhyc.overleaf-workshop-0.15.10-3b47635\out\core\pdfViewEditorProvider.js:52:21)
I'm not sure whether this is caused by Overleaf Workshop, but after uninstalling Overleaf Workshop, I could open all PDFs normally again.
