Dear Michele Paulatto, @michpaulatto Thank you very much for your interest in using TomoATT to perform the inversion for the Vp/Vs ratio. Yes, TomoATT can invert Tp-Ts data for Vp/Vs ratio. We are preparing an example to demonstrate this function, and we will upload it to "examples/eg5_VpVs_ratio_inversion" once it is finished (possibly in a few weeks). We would be happy to inform you when the example is updated. If you have any questions about using TomoATT, please feel free to contact us, e.g., using this discussion forum. We are glad to address questions from all users. Thank you again for considering TomoATT for your tomographic tasks! |

Hi developers, very nice code! Thanks for sharing with the community. I am a volcano geophysicist and I am interested in accurately constraining Vp/Vs ratio. Are there any plans to implement inverting S-wave - P-wave differential traveltimes to directly get Vp/Vs? This would be similar to what is done in SimulPS, but of course with the advantages of the adjoint method. Is this even possible with the adjoint method? It would be a very valuable addition, with lots of applications.
