Kashcal for older devices?

Do you think it would be doable to release KashCal for devices starting at Android 11? I purchased several Echo Shows (8 1st and 5 snd Gen) and flashed them with LineageOS. At the moment I use Fossify Calendar and it works, but I miss KashCal there 😆

If you consider to test it, I would sign up as beta tester.

I can't pin down what changes Android made starting 12 that breaks sync. I just saw Google released some new features that it says starting Android 12. So my guess is that there are major changes and a lot of stuff isn't compatible

having said that, does it show any way to ignore the version and install is anyway?

that sounds like a good idea; I had an echo and out of the box OS experience wasn't that good.

I could try to install it via Obainium later, tried it only on F-Droid.

I don't need on those devices the sync features cause DAVx5 is already installed there. I'll keep you updated.
