Idea for Insight enhancement

Is it possible to tag / categorise events ?
Currently there is a large bar that shows total events time and distinguishes by calendars (ICS subscription, local cal etc.). But if we can tag events then we'll be able to distinguish by those tags and it will be more precise I guess. What do you think ?

I think it will be only possible for local calendar (if it's possible at all) ?
We will be able to rank those tags (eg. total scheduled time for top x tags)

this is a great idea! We should be able to do this when categories feature #197 lands. I kinda went overboard with categories thinking - similar to your idea, I was thinking of using this as tag mechanism, everything that's tagged can be customized (folks have to tag everything as one time effort though). See an example here: #216

Having said that, I am not sure how my wild ideas will match the implementation; so far, I have been just tracking those ideas.

It's fine. Unless we think we won't get any solutions at all.

One click away depending on UX implementation unless using quick add event or we can add logic to the quick add parser ?
