API Roadmap - Upcoming Structural Changes

Hello!

I am on a team that is considering developing with the CDA, but we noticed a disclaimer on the API roadmap page:

Our API will be undergoing large structural changes in the spring/summer, and we highly recommend delaying any serious development against it until we release the new version.

Is this warning still in effect? I see that this page hasn't been updated in ~10 months, so the most recent spring/summer since then has passed. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Of course, if this is the wrong place to ask, please let me know.

Hi there,

Thanks for asking! We've had a series of setbacks that have stopped us from publicly releasing the new API. We're getting around the bulk of those issues by moving to a different host, and we're in the process of setting up our environments. I'm hopeful that we will be up and testing soon, and that we will really, actually release before summer.

If you want a preview, the new API code is here https://github.com/CancerDataAggregator/cda-api and our dev @tanner-coon-bh would be happy to answer any questions or to walk you through it. I suggest chatting in the issues directly on that repo so he sees them right away, and I'll move any useful info that comes up back here.
