I did publish this package myself https://github.com/iambumblehead/hypel

it has unit-tests and is working for me. It has some additional behaviours you probably do not want but the entire file is just over 100 loc. If your looking for something to try out while replacing hyperscript-helpers it might be a decent option

It's a very simple package, so I wouldn't really say it's unmaintained. It's basically just finished. It has all the functionality it needs and, as far as I can tell, doesn't have any major bugs.

I'd say that if it's not broken don't fix it is my normal mode but if you have suggestions that would contribute to faster or better implementation of the same quality or better please do let me know. The package we've been discussing for a bit has potentially been marked as working and no need for further attention by the original developers and as such may need some revision to be kept up to date with current and future standards. What do you think?
