version numbers like x.x.xy doesn't work

I got two new release: https://github.com/nebiros/yasc tag: v0.1.10 and v0.1.11 and none of those are build in pearhub, http://www.pearhub.org/projects/yasc/releases.

I also noticed that for version numbers not closely following semver, additional characters are simply stripped out.

For example:
2.0.0b is published as 2.0.0 (even if there is a tag named 2.0.0)

The issue with version numbering of x.x.xy seems to be arising from line 151 of repo.in.php. PHP's strcmp function is saying that (for example) 1.1.9 > 1.1.10. We need a better way to compare these two version numbers.

As, you don't really need alphabetical comparison, you could use intval after exploding the string.
Oh, but of course you have to pad the exploded parts (unless you want 5.4.23 to be determined newer
than 6.0.1).
You can then easily compare the two versions.
