Unseen faces during texturing #226

I have camera poses and 3D points from a COLMAP reconstruction. I have used MVE's make_scene tool to create an MVE scene and I have imported the scene plus an externally generated mesh, which is coherent to the reference system of MVE inside UMVE for visualization:

Cameras are in the correct place and so is the mesh. There is intersection between the viewing direction of the cameras and the mesh.
When trying to texture the mesh, less than 10% of faces are actually textured, the others are declared as unseen:

What could the problem be?
I have had no problems with texturing MVE generated meshes.
